Movement Sensor

Hi all,

First post so I come straight out with what I am trying to achieve.

I want to make a Sensor that picks up movement then sends a signal wireless to a box in my pocket.


I thought I would start with something like.
1. Sensor - eBay Sensor
2. RF Data TX/RX - eBay agian
3. A buzzer or Vibrate in pocket.

Now is this possible? or what else would I Need.

In the very simplest case, you could connect the sensor up so it powers the transmitter when it detects movement.

Then you have the receiver connected so that when a signal is recieved it switches on the buzzer (this may require some smarts, at the very least a transistor and a resistor.

unfortunately, when there is no activity, and the transmitter is transmitting nothing, the receiver may pick up random signals and the buzzer may operate anyway.

Do you have any specs on the transmitter/receiver? Without these it's really pretty hard to offer a more specific answer (or one that will work)
