I can't find a data sheet on this transistor. That's what's presently in the circuit, and I don't know if it's correct, or if somebody installed what they thought was an equivalent. Does anybody know if this transistor is equivalent to what's called for in the schematic? (Date code on Xsistor 3rd week, 1971)
Schematic calls for Interstate Electronics Corp P00347103, NSN 5961-01-024-5303.
Thanks

Schematic calls for

what is the equipment ? make and model ?
if you have a schematic --- please post an image of it showing the area around the questioned part

In my job, I often don't have the luxury of knowing what the board goes to, sometimes I don't even get a copy of the schematic.
I suppose they keep me around specifically because I'm of the era of some of this equipment , and somebody is hoping they'll hit pay-dirt giving it to me. I appreciate your desire to help me with this, I was just hoping somebody here might be able to find something on this transistor. It may be a proprietary part number. I'll see if the owner has another one of these boards, with a functioning transistor, and try to match it. Thanks for the interest.

If anybody is interested, still haven't found any data on the Motorola SS1237. I DID find an ''SS" Series of transistors in the 1975 D.A.T.A. data book, but they start at SS2000 and go through SS3638, and they were made by a company called 'Solid State Industries, Inc'. I solved my problem by finding a replacement original device, I just never found a Motorola data sheet for it.
