Hai,

Is it possible to measure the L and Q value using the VNA .If so help me with the procedure.

Thanks

He's talking about an inductor's 'Q', and a vector network analyzer.
There are probably a dozen ways to do it, and they're all accessible on the web.
I like the give and take info on this site.. People know more about some things than I do, and I try to help somebody asking something about a topic I know about.
But if somebody wants to do something, I think maybe they should make an effort to try to do at least some of the legwork by themselves.

inductance measurement

Hai,

Actually I have tried out the measurement using the VNA.
I used a Inductor in series with a 50 ohm. I found the reflection S11 using the VNA.
from S11 i calculated the L value.
unfortunately I was not able get the correct graph. I mean i wasnt sure abt the graph .
And i was not aware of the method to calculate the Q factor using VNA.
So that is the reason I posted this question .

I have attached the graph which I got (it shows the variation of L with freq)
kindly take a look.
