JVC AV-28X37HKE Television - vertical black border problem

Hi

I bought a new widescreen TV in February and from the very beginning a small
black patch had appeared at random in the top right corner. Sometimes the
corner was perfect, sometimes the black patch would cut slightly into the
picture. Lately I have noticed that this is happening not only in the top
right corner but also in the bottom right corner and, at times, there is a
black line (1 cm or so) running vertically along the right side of the
screen. The problem seems to appear randomly, whether I am watching a TV
broadcast, a video or a DVD. One minute the corner is the 90 degrees it
should be and the next second, when a scene changes, the patch comes up. It
is not static, it moves slightly. The left side of the screen is always
perfectly straight. With the controls, I can move the picture up and down
but not from left to right (and vice versa) so I cannot try it to see if it
would solve the problem.

Is this normal for widescreen televisions or do I have a faulty set? Thank
