Integrated circuit info needed

Hi,

I have an old ISA CD-rom/IDE controller and need
to know what the type and pinout of the main chip
is. It's an AP128B. If anyone knows or can find out
what chip this is, I would appreciate any info. I have
been looking for quite a while and can't seem to find
anything on it. I'll keep looking too. Thanks.

What is the manufacturer? It could be a custom part.

Aw Geez Wally, I knew someone was going to ask me that.
Well, the sticker on the chip that I had to scrape off read:
------ CDC-100 IPCP 9503------
It's got headers installed for IDE and Panasonic CD drive,
but the Sony and Mitsumi locations have no pins installed.
That is all the information I have, other than jumpers and
such, which I'll post if you need to know those. I can also
scan the card and post the picture if you'd like.

Without knowing the manufacturer of the part it is virtually impossible
to identify.

Why do you need to know about the IC? If what you need to write some
embedded code to use this card just look at a linux kernel which has
code in C for all the old CDROM controllers.
