Hi, I have recently started a new job within the rail industry and have been looking at possible modifications to the tamping machines.
I am looking into replacing a tamping depth transducer with a linear position transducer as the wire keeps snapping.
I don't have much electronic experience and there looks to be a few issues that someone experienced in electronics could solve more easily.
The o/p range for the wire transducer is -15v > +15VDC and the linear position transducer o/p is 10vDC.
Could someone help me with how these two circuits could be integrated?
I have attached both types of transducers circuit drawings if someone with the knowledge could take a look please and may have an idea where to begin. If any further information is required please don't hesitate to ask.
Kind regards,
Darren.
