How to Replace a Sliding Door Security Alarm Contact

I have FBii alarm system and the Magnetic Sliding Door contact no longer works. I see a simliar looking part on Amazon? Will i have to program a new contact? How is this done?

If it's just a magnet and reed switch then you won't have to program the alarm. Can you show us a picture of the old and new sensor?

Thanks for the quick reply. Attached is a picture on the old and a the new one I want to buy from Amazon. The new one is a Honeywell 951WG-WH Stubby Recessed Magnetic Contact Switch Thanks!!
