new to here (obviously) and i do some work randomly in the audio industry from time to time, setting up rigs for live sound, music production, djing, mixing, etc... i would think i'm somewhat of a self-taught audio engineer(i use the term loosely) after doing research about a ton of subjects online. however, wouldn't think i'm anywhere near being an electrical engineer nor even an electrician.

did a google search about joining audio signals without a mixer since a y-cable would backfeed them into each other's amplifier and i found a thread on here that mentioned using resistors

figured this is a good site to save as a bookmark, join, and lurk a bit since knowing more about the source electrical signals that feed the audio chain seems like it would be extremely useful, if not, necessary.

thanks for having me here :D
