Still struggling/experimenting with my Honda EU2000i
and my home furnace - flame detect circuit kicks out if
I plug all three wires from furnace to generator (3-prong
plug on line from furnace). Anyways, found this article
that I thought people who were incolved with my origianl
thread might find helpful: (slow page, so just be patient)

Did you try the toroid iron on the hot for a filter as

I tried all of the torroid tricks (common mode,
differrential mode, etc)

somebody suggested they had success with?

I have lost track of who said what. It may have been
you....LOL
I would try the inductor trick but the high frequency
transients also need a path to dissipate. I would
either supply a dummy load on the gen side of the
toroid/inductance or a MOV rated about 220 Vdc or 130
vac (same unit usually). When you reject the high
frequency quantizing noise from the load it may back up
and damage the output pf the inverter.

I am surprised Honda would put this out without some
circuitry to kill the quantizing noise as best they
can. perhaps this person has a damaged output filter or
this isn't what you question is about all
together?...LOL

Well, you make good points, but again, I believe this
is some strange grounding deal. I think the HF may
get shunted back to frame ground, and fed back to
the furnace over the ground lead or somehting
