Hi,
I'm working on a project that involves hollow core solenoids with a high pulsating/reversing rate
I need to know how to figure out how much power I'm going to get as far as gauge of wire goes and number of turns plus the diameter of the cylinder.
Also involved in this would be a small cylindrical magnet of some kind
Lastly I'd like to know how far my 'magnetic effectiveness' is, that is how far away the magnet can be from the solenoid's magnetic field before I start losing noticeable electromagnetic force
Any help would be appreciated thanks
What will give me the most 'torque' thin enamel wire with many turns or thick wire with less turns. I believe it's the one with the many turns (from my knowledge of Brushless Motors)
