AM-signal, Bessel or Butterworth filter?

Hello again

What kind of filter is best for a band-pass filter if the signal is an
AM-signal?

Should i select Butterworth or Bessel?

Why bother with Bessel if flat group delay isn't necessary? The
stopband is sloppier for the same complexity of parts. I love
Bessel-Thompson filters for pulse filtering - beautiful results. But
for generic filters?

There's too much information needed to determine what filter is best for
an application and we've been given so little.
