    Flickering light (LED) circuit

GOT IT! I wish to thank everyone who participated in this discussion. I had planned first to buy a different brand of bulb to try, but it didn't make sense not to first try the larger capacitance, as i had those lying around, well not larger, but I paralleled two .47uf, making .94uf and now it's...

    Flickering light (LED) circuit

Oh, yeah, the low wattage bulb works perfectly, circuits energized or not, and replacing the switches with SPST & DPST also would work, but I'm still hoping for a work-around, which would be a more perfect inexpensive solution.

    Flickering light (LED) circuit

"the switch steals power through the load..." They studied a different electronics than I did. I've looked at that site and they recommend what the manufacturers claim their limits are, which is kind of a pull and plug mentality; I was looking for work-arounds to those limitations. Guess I'm too...

    Flickering light (LED) circuit

There should be no noise except when a signal is sent, ON/OFF/DIM/BRIGHT. The issue with this dimmer--and most others--is that when turned off, there's still minute current present, unless of course, the master switch of the dimmer is off. What I'm seeing is random flashing of the lights when...

    Flickering light (LED) circuit

Adam, The RC circuit is somewhat taking the load from the circuit without, I'm thinking, burning energy (I have not tested for current, but the circuits themselves are at ambient temperature--and, in fact, the RC circuits are replacing a 4w lamp I started out with). KrisBlue, The dimmer in...

    Flickering light (LED) circuit

Even if they're less expensive (the prices I've seen are $50 apiece), our entire house has these dimmers on our security system, so I'm not wont to replace them, especially not in the number we would be exchanging for our incandescents as they burn out.

    Flickering light (LED) circuit

They are, about $50 apiece. And, as we start replacing bulbs, we'll be looking to replace the incandscents with LEDs--which would be very expensive, and I don't want to go to analog switches because our lighting system is a part of our security system.

    Flickering light (LED) circuit

    There's a single pole on the 2-lamp circuit and a 3-way on the 6.

    Flickering light (LED) circuit

According to some, what I am looking for is a network that will correct this without spending $100 on two switches.

    Flickering light (LED) circuit

Yes, all are dimmable, that's why I'm trying to keep the switches. I could put in regular singles and 3-ways to correct this; but hoping not to.

    Flickering light (LED) circuit

Those two flickering are on the one circuit, the 6-bulb circuit remains steady (if you can see it--it's a pretty small video--there's one can on the track light on the ceiling that's steady).

    Flickering light (LED) circuit

Yes both light circuits are on dimmer switches. I added the RC circuit to control some pretty erratic behavior, such as when the circuits are de-energized, all of the bulbs would blink in random order. I'm hoping to find a solution to this so as not to have to replace the dimming switches.

    Flickering light (LED) circuit

Here's a video of what's happening, I had to make it pretty small to conform to the forum's file size limit.

    Flickering light (LED) circuit

Thanx, Adam, but I still get a flicker with two and two.

    Flickering light (LED) circuit

The LEDs are all 2,700K, dimmable, the 6-lamp circuit is spaced some 8x6' on the ceiling (track lights) and the other two are hanging lamps over a kitchen bar (they're all the same, BR30 bulbs).

    Flickering light (LED) circuit

Oops, Please forgive, I had redrawn my initial schematic and took out the leg on Circuit #1, but overlooked Circuit #2. I edited the OP and inserted an updated graphic. If line interference is causing the flicker, shouldn't it do so on both circuits, or even circuit #2 when energized alone?

    Flickering light (LED) circuit

I have introduced RC circuits to two LED lamp circuits on the same electrical leg (the RC circuits prohibit the LEDs from blinking when turned off on a dimmable switch). When either lamp circuit is turned on, it behaves normally, but when both are turned on, the one circuit with two LEDs...
