Hi all,
i am struggling to identify a diode from a Samsung BN44-00504A tv power board
the diode is marked up as SR315A SHS 1G1.
as I'm a newbie i cannot find the correct or equivalent diode so any help would be appreciated.
i asked at my local maplin but they could not identify the part either...

Yes Steve i would try to use it for photography.
looking at the other tread mentioned it looks harder than i first thought.
what about a normal motor that i could vary the power to adjust the speed, would that work ?
