I bought a 12V Relay 433MHZ 1CH Wireless RF Remote Control Switch Transmitter & Receiver off Ebay to use as a remote kill switch for a go kart. It came with no instructions and I don't have the knowledge to figure it out. The receiver will need to complete a ground circuit on the kart to kill the engine. Can someone give me the advice that I need to make this work? Here is the Ebay listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/12V-Relay-4...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

Power the board from 12V wired to DC12V (+ and -).

Connect two wires, one from COM and one from NO. These will connect across your normal 'kill' switch wiring on the kart.

Power it up. Press the remote and check for proper 'death'.....

Then notify the authorities as appropriate...

What is the best way to power the device? The kart doesn't have a battery.

Sir qtband . . . . . .

Coming in at the very bottom of the Tiffany's preferred shopping list would be an 8 cell "D" size battery holder, along with 8 D cells bought from a "Dollar Store" and a power switch, that should give a years of service if you religiously remember to turn the unit off. OR an additional FLASHING RED LED wired across the units + - 12VDC input terminals might help you in accomplishing that.
