Hello,

Does anyone know where I can find a suitable DC/DC power supply? It
has to handle an input range of about 9 - 32 Vdc and have out put of
about 5A @ 12 Vdc. I am not looking for an external power supply with
power on switch, fuses and LEDs. I want a module to put in my own
enclosure together with other electronics. The input and out put
should have screw terminals or some type of contacts, not PCB mount.

i have had troubles finding a power supply like this mainly because of
my input voltage range. If some one knows where to find one i would be
very thankful.

Best regards

The nearest I know of, 'off the shelf', is the AS1301-7R, from 'Power one'
(www.power-one.com). This accepts 8v to 35v in, and gives 12v at 8A. It has
a 'plug' connector, rather than screw terminals, but a socket with screw
terminals is available. Data sheet at:
