Yep its a PT6112 . . . .in a SOT 23-5 casing configuration.

Its what makes that lil' puppy work.

Confirm your 5---7 DC input at pin 4 over to pin 2 for a ground referencing.
Then move + probe over to 3 to see if you have a Dee Cee output for the Li Ion battery ?

A Da-Da sheet with pinout, awaits you at . . . . .

Oh it works. I was curious as to how. I now know. Thanks Edd. It uses a standard micro usb charger as for a cell phone.
