For those who design lighting fittings/luminaires, what kind of CAD or
drawing software are you using?
I need to buy some software that I can use when designing luminaires (things
like table lamps, ceiling and wall lamps, that kind of thing). I don't think
there is any need for software to show optical performance.
It probably needs to be able to produce a file or data needed for
manufacture.
I think SolidWorks and stuff is overkill isn't it. Also too expensive. I
neeed some direction here. Thanks.
