See it before it completely disappears, you mean, Harald?
(Sorry *steve*, I gotta learn mobile abbreviated slang before I can shorten my posts, to save you review time)

I bump into grammar Nazi’s online all the time. They can be as frustrating as the txt spellers.

I usually give them a virtual pat on the back and say:

"There they’re their. It'll be alight mate."

yeah, but there us bad grammar and there is just downright disgusting grammar.
People really should learn to type, spell and use grammar in a much better way.

hell, it doesn't take much to review your post before hitting the reply button.

My pet hate is those that cannot put spaces after punctuation, where everything runs in together.
Makes it horrible to read.

See what you've done to Steve? It obviously didn't take much to put him in a state of fury ;)

If you squint your eyes at the above post and stare off into infinity a stereo image will appear.

Ummm... it's highly subjective. Most of the time I don't see much of anything, but maybe I need to practice on my squint and staring off into infinity technique.:p

"that the last big solar event was in 1858. Transformers melted, and telegraph stations were set on fire."
That was called a Carrington event, by the observer's name. It has to do with Jupitor's massive magneto-gravitation effect on triggering bigger effects on the sun's surface which causes Solar Winds to modulate the Earth's Magnetosphere with a low frequency wobble which is inductively coupled into transmission lines that are designed to minimize this effect by rotating wire phases every km.

As the cycle of Jupitor is 400 days and the sun's cycle has many periods with a fundamental at 11 years and longer cycles up to millennium. I don't know if they have predicted which Sunspot cycle # will be as big as the one during the Carrington effect, but it's not this or the next one.

I must have been thinking of this autostereogram image of a shark when I commented on Harald's binary posting... It does take some practice to see the fish.
