I know this is an Electronics Forum and I am in school to be an Electronics Repair Tech.

But I have a Program called Movie Studio 8.0 and I do video Editing.

But I wanted to know if there is any FREE programs out that are any good?

I do a lot of Green Screen Efecs and I like to Talk into my Timeline so I can talk over the Video.
I like to have Text scroll in diferant ways on screen.

I have win7 and I never know if I should pay for the new verson of Movie Studio or get a FREE program.

Does anybody know off hand if any out thare are good?

Have a look at Blender 3D.
This is not a Video editing program. It is a 3D modelling and animation program with a built-in video compositor. The compositor alone can be used for video editing and effects. Be warned, however: Blender 3D has a very steep learning curve.
I found this overview of free video editing software for windows (you didn't name your operating system).
