Hello there,
am having trouble trying to analyse this voltage regulator circuit fro the collector current[T1] and the output voltage.
i know that
; the zener voltage - the two base emitter voltages maybe be equal to the output, but m having doubts.
i.e 20v-0.7-0.7= 18.6v as the output?

Please help

20V-0.7-0.7 looks right to me.
The collecctor current of T1 will be similar to the emitter current which can be calculated from the voltage and the load resistance.

i think that will work just fine. coz no values for alpha or beta to help in calculating the gains for the transistors have been given. thanks
