video not even menu only black screen,but audio is fine.Anyone have
any common repair tips for this model?.Thanks in advance.

I'd certainly check the solder connections associated with the video output
jack.

Have you tried all the possible outputs? Even if you don't have
component inputs on the TV, you should get at least a black and white
picture from the green component output if you feed it into a composite
input (assuming the player is set to interlaced and not progressive.)
