Servo motors, using photoresister

Working on a project that I followed the schematics exactly; the servo worked for a second, then stopped. The photoresisters never worked.

My first question: does the Arduino need to be programmed for it to work? And can I use a 2 wire motor with the photoresistors.

I would rather use a motor that can continually spin and have the light sensors stop it. Possible?

Yes, Arduino needs to be programmed. Also the motor will need to be driven via mosfet, relay or similar. Possible to do without a microcontroller, however, the micro makes adding other features later much easier. Best to post copies of what you have so we can see and make an educated appraisal rather than a stab in the dark.

Thanks. Do you happen to know how I can get one on one help putting this project together. Have you heard of services like this?

Yes, the service is called google. See also YouTube and this forum.

However you'll have to start (if you sell help here) by providing links to the web page(s) you got your design from, and probably pictures of your construction.
