I have a Beckman HD110 digital multimeter which does not work.

The battery supply is getting to the electronics, but the display
remains off and no voltage appears on the test leads in the resistance
position.

As I have no wish to attempt to fix this "blind", I need a manual, or
at least a schematic, for it. Anyone know where I could get one,
please?

Dmm's tend to have a fuse in line with one lead to protect from over
current, maybe it shares the same lead as the battery? Another maybe,
the mode selector has a broken contact?

To the original poster : Check the plastic bracket that holds the LCD to
the circuit board. It is probably broken preventing solid electrical
contact.

Thanks; I'll start there.
