Samsung TV/VCR Combo plays no tape

the VCR module (of the combo is CXB1922/CX. Had a tape jammed, I was able
to remove it (w/o breaking anything) now the rollers, etc all go back and
forth pretending as if there were a tape loaded and it was playing it. As
such, it sends a PLAY signal to the TV on screed display, which must be
stopped manually. But it keeps cycling, with its phantom tape it keeps
trying to play.

All the caps look intact. Any thoughts?

Yea...... take it to a repair shop so a TECH can provide you with a
proper repair or at the very least a repair cost estimate so you can
make an intelligent repair decision with facts instead of wild guesses.
...... BTW, my wild guess would be faulty gear timing, dirty mode
switch, faulty BOT or EOT sensors, faulty IR Emitter, etc, etc, ......
notice that none of these wild guesses even came close to mentioning
faulty caps.

(TECH = person who knows what to look for and has the abilty to
actually TEST components with test equipment.... i.e. parts that look
"intact" can actually be quite faulty)
