Rubber button caps for RC handset

Hi,

Does anyone know of a supplier of rubber button caps - the type you find on
most consumer remote control handsets? It's for a production item, so I
can't just use scrap rc handsets (but not a big enough run to justify a
custom handset) .

They're usually molded as one piece for the whole keypad. I've seen
individual ones (round) but they are not that available, AFAIK.

There's one step between fully custom and nothing, and that's ordering
a run of a few thousand of an existing mold but with your markings and
colors.

If it is such a small serie, I would risk using rubber keys.

If you have enough space (thickness) then there's plenty
choice in simple pushbuttons. If you have no space, you
could use those metal clickers. Frontpanel manufacturers
have them, and they can also help you with the cover.
That is not extremely expensive, few thousand $ perhaps
for a few hundred keypads.

You may be able to find a local supplier. I've not used these, but
had a good look a couple of years ago and they seem very useful.
