Hello everyone,
I have a technical problem with signal generator model "SMPD 3768011"
(5Khz - 2700MHz)
After to have switched "ON" the instrument it appears for
approximately one second on the display the written "IEC 13", and
subsequently instead of the frequency generated and other operating
information, appears this code: "--- 6" that I think was an code
of internal error.
If I press a button whichever of the frontal control panel, this code
disappear and the generator run properly in all it's function, but
after a few second the "--- 6" code reappear even if the generator
work properly, and so on.
The signal generator work well, but this is a boring problem that
force me to press anything button, every 10/30 second!!
What mean this code, and/or what I can make in order to resolve this
problem?
(I don't have a user/service manual in which there are a service info
for troubleshooting this kind of problem...)
