RCA CC-030 Color Camera / Want to use the Color Viewfinder as Standalone Monitor

Hello NG Members,

I have an RCA CC-30 color camera (not camcorder), produced circa 1984. This
camera uses an unusual color viewfinder built around a Hitachi H6289
miniature beam-index color CRT. I am trying to operate the viewfinder as a
standalone technical curiosity, an interesting departure from the usual
shadow mask & Trinitron tubes.
The viewfinder bears a P/N (or a serial N°) : 4047H1048, manufactured
January 1984.
The viewfinder is connected to the camera body by a circular 8 pin connector
where all pins are evenly spaced with respect to one another. There is a
small locating key between 2 pins.

Ideally, i am looking for the function of each pin and their numbering
sequence.

I would also be quite happy to purchase a service manual or photocopies of
the connector, viewfinder or entire camera (make me an offer).

If this solution doesn't give results, i intend to power up the camera
through its 10 pin VCR/Power connector then measure voltages and look with a
scope at the different pins.

Thank you very much in advance for any help,

Best Regards
