Protel DXP PCB drag selection Question

Hi!

I'm currently drawing a little PCB with Altium's Design Explorer DXP
(7.2.85). After drawing the schematic I got it converted to a PCB.
Currently I'm doing the PCB layout with the integrated Protel.

I'm now desperately searching how to drag a group of components and wires.
I've put some components together, routed many tracks between them and now
I want to move some of them including their tracks and have all tracks
going to other components stay connected and behave like rubber lines.

Could you please give me a hint how to do this?

Thanks
Hansi

Hi!
Select them, use Edit Move Drag.

This wants me to select a single object and then drag it around.

How exaclty should I proceed to drag several components including routes
at once?

Thanks

Try control-clicking (i.e., hold down the "Ctrl" key on the keyboard
while clicking the mouse), or dragging a box around them.

Good Luck!

This also didn't give the expected result.

What is special on [Ctrl]-Select? It seems no components are included.

It was just a thought. In other Windows apps, where you have an option
to select something, sometimes you can select multiple things by using
ctrl-click. So I figured, give it a shot, it couldn't do any harm. :)

Good Luck!
