power regulator circuit with sleep mode function

Hi all,

I want to design a power regulator circuit which has sleep mode
function using ams1117. How do I do? Or do anyone know other ICs which
performs similar function but small footprint?

If by "sleep mode" you simply mean to turn it off under control of
some external signal, look at other regulator chips with shutdown
pins. There are so many of them, and you offered so little about your
requirements, that it's useless to make a suggestion about which may
be good for your application. Look on the National Semiconductor,
Analog Devices, Linear Technology, ON Semiconductor and Maxim websites
for ideas--and there are plenty other manufacturers who make low
dropout regulators with a shutdown feature.
