Hello There!

I have some potentiometers (rotary and sliders) from a synthesiser that needed cleaning, which I have now done. I have purchased some Deoxit Fader Grease to lubricate them afterwards as they action isn't very smooth after cleaning and a good smooth action is necessary on synths.

My question is, can the fader grease be applied to the actual carbon track as well as the other touching parts? Or should the carbon track be left completely dry?

Thanks for any advice
Dave

Yes it can be put on the carbon tracks but excess should then be wiped off with a paper towel so only a slight residue remains, or for blind tracks you can't get to, use their spray 5% formula instead of 100%.
