This is my first time creating an LED array, and I just want to make sure my circuit is fine and everything that I need is included before I buy all the parts and put it together.

The switches in the circuit are imitating microcontroller pins.

Is this everything I would need?

Thanks

You'll need some current limiting resistors in there else its a race to see which fries first - the transistors or the LEDs :p

If your design only permits 2 switches to be on at any time, you can place the resistors before the common junction of the transistor collectors. The value should be chosen such that it lower than the maximum limit for both an LED and a transistor. If I remember, the 2n2222 can take about 800mA but the LEDs will be significantly smaller than this (around 15-20 for bog standard ones).

Ahh, I knew I forgot something!
Thankyou for pointing that out, of course I need resistors for the LEDs lol
