Jeeze! An omega.com pH meter for $35.
Or $22 for the meter, $16 for the probe.
Noticed by Roy O. at UW CES.

Now why do these cost $60, or $80 ?

Chem joke:

At a recent public lecture I saw a "Science show."

A chemist demonstrated the dangers of toxic zinc vapor.

Needless to say, the audience was galvanized.

Oops. That's just a conductivity meter.

If your device passes a current through the media that is being
tested and the current is measured, then that is what you have
weather the cost is $5 or $5k.

Is that what you imagine a pH meter does?
