Pcad version incompatibility?

Here is a question for all the pcad users out there. Now that that
Altium has officially burried the product along with the knowledge
base, it looks like were on our own.

Recently we made changes to a PCB using Pcad 2002. When the board is
viewed with the viewer tool (2006 edition) which is basically a
watered down edition of PCB, several nets show up as unmade
connections with the little blue lines showing. Attempting to
"reconnect nets" does not solve the problem. Clearly this is another
one of those bugs associated with pcad's finicky nature of traces and
exact connection points.

The concern is that there are some connection errors, identified by
the viewer and aren't picked up by a DRC in the 2002 version. While
unlikely, we feel it is prudent to spend some effort to discern the
real cause of the problem.

Is anybody aware of any compatibility issues between the 2002 and 2006
versions, especially with regards to the PCB files and the netlist
connections?
