parallel voltage source

hi,
its a basic question..what happen if the 2 voltage sources are parallel?
and can we use the 2 voltage sources for a voltage Divider network?
if it so what will be the output?

Yes that circuit will work. An input voltage range of 0~5V will produce an output voltage range of 1~5V.
