Hello, I'm planning to make an outlet that has a sensor which senses only near hands (hand's position when plugging ac cord) and makes the outlet off and on when there is no "near hand" detected. My purpose here is to prevent electric shock while plugging. Is it a good project? I need your opinions to know the possible problems in making it..thank you alot . :)

Sounds like a "solution" in search of a "problem." There already exist outlets with toggle switches. Just wire it so the outlet of OFF when the switch is OFF:

Let me add,
that these switched outlets were not made for safety reasons just for switching on/off.

The Europlug is well insulated to prevent finger contact while inserting/removing the plug.

The project could be viable for protecting children trying to insert metallic objects into outlets,
but it should be as cheap as the plastic stoppers, very doubtful they can be.
