I was having some corespondence with somebody about some
camera soft I wrote, and some new utilities, and that person,
who is into research, pointed me to this site:

As to the recent mentioning of neural nets, this may be very
interesting to those working on robotic vision and high speed
capture for example.

It is a real product, bit expensive still, with very stunning
capabilities.

I like it a lot.

It reminds me of what I did - as a graduate student back in 1967 -
when I needed to monitor a chemical reaction over a longish time into
the 4k memory of a PDP-8; I kept on accumulating the voltages I was
reading until theyed changed significantly, then dumped the average
voltage since the last significant change into memory, along with the
time that I dumped it; I had to take 600usec off from accumulating the
data to calculate the average, but it was worth it.

The Zurich guys have more hardware to play with ...
