Initially remove top clamshell cover to expose the units innards . . . .take AC power cord in hand and
trace that line to a connection into a minor sub assembly board. That board should have 1 or 2 clip
in fuses on it and the units main ice cube power relay at about its center .
Need to see if the relay might possibly have its SPST contacts fused together OR continually receiving drive to its coil, which is keeping it from opening and turning off.
If you unplug the AC line cord from power, wait awhile, then plug in again, does it automatically power up by itself , if not that is negating a fused set of relay contacts.
Come back after you have zeroed in on the applicable board and area.
