Hey Everyone,

I am attempting to make a custom motor controller, and I wanted to get some feedback from you guys.

I was thinking instead of an H bridge I'd try something a bit different in the form of a Howland Current Pump.

I've heard that it make motor control somewhat easier and after some reading it seems to be a viable solution for making a better motor controller than my last H-Bridge configuration. The last one I tried had trouble with the rapid directional changes in the motor and had a bit of jiggle when in the resting state. Pretty much what I am going after with this motor controller is something that has has rapid directional changing response, has motor speed control, and can support a 12-24V/3-7Amp motor.

Any and all Feed back is appreciated!

The motor I am wanting to control is a 12V/ 5A @FULL LOAD

Link to Howland Current Source that got me thinking here
And another one with and example here

Thank you all in advance!
Carlo
