I play fairly frequently, a couple friends and I play on a server that I run off of my old laptop.
They are more into building actual buildings I like digging elaborate things and using the logic systems that have in there.

I play often enough to call myself a geek. I like survival with minimal plug-ins, the kind that make the game feel cheaty.
