can anyone give me a good idea about the sensitivity of a microphone and how adding filters and amplifiers may decrease or increase its sensitivity... I have actually made a mic with a first stage of low pass buttersworth filter 2nd order unity gain and also a 2nd stage of amplification with a gain of 11...... The problem is the mic is not able to get enough amplitudes for signals lower than 65HZ... can anyone look at my circuit and tell me what to do to improve it so that its sensitivity can be increased..... I have attached the diagram... please dont look at the first opamp... that is just the mic and I have not bothered to dc bias or ac couple it because it isnt part of my actual circuit.... I have attached the picture here...
