Dear Sir/Madam,

I have designed Voltage Regulator using LTC3780IG with following specification

Vin – 16V to 32V
Vout - 24V
Iout – 6A

The following design has two issues:

a) The circuit is not working in Boost Mode. i.e, at input 16V the output voltage is 14.9V. And if I increase input voltage , output voltage is also increased.

b) At Buck Mode i.e if input voltage is above 28V , the output voltage is 24.3V. And if Input voltage is further increased to 32V the Controller LTC3780 is going Bad.

Please find the attached Schematic.

Please let me know if any problem in the design as soon as possible.

Regards,
Kruthi

Welcome to EP.

Do you have any experience with SMPS design or is the the first one for you?
What equipment do you have for testing?
Please upload some photos of the actual build.

i have deigned for the first time.

I have designed the regulator board using LTC3780IG.

An SMPS design has so many pitfalls .
The LTC3780 isn't the simplest one to design.
For a first design it may be well above your skills.

You can not expect it to work on the first try.
How did you build it?show photos.
Passive part selection is also critical for a working circuit.

What equipment do you have for testing?
