Its a terminal to be soldered into a PCB and the terminal which is used to
mount a wire has a thread for a 5mm bolt (or bigger)

Rapid Electronics in the UK call them "PCB screw terminals" and do
them in a few configurations.

The 90° ones are handy for attaching PCBs to the inside of PC drive
bays (and I presume anything you can put a hole in), if that's your
kind of thing.

Looks like the Schroff stuff we used, but it's not in the simplified
catalogue at
http://195.124.228.156/PentWebMedien.NSF/Files/ex_0901_en/$file/ex_0901_en.pdf
(caution - 35MB).

You could send them the link to your pictures and ask advice.
