In my years of experience and through my profession, I've seen many of these, and I never thought too much about them, but just recently someone just so happens to clip the AC cables. Not a big deal right? Just take off the rest of the cable and solder some new ones in, but I have no idea what this thing is called. I worry that I wont be able to jab a new cable through it, so knowing the name will allow me to buy them as needed.

You can re use the cable anchor grommet. you just squeeze them with pliers & they push out, same to re install.

Squeeze the bottom section inwards, toward the cable.
