Can anyone help with identifying this part?

I`m thinking it`s a Thermistor (going by the schematic symbol) but can`t work out the specs 26V 1608 ?

It`s reading as open.

Unless it’s being a SECURITY breach / or / compromise . . . why don’t ye give us ye olde brand and model number of your unit ? possibly View Sonic ?

And . . . assuredly . . . . you’re opening the door to the WRONG parrot cage, as this unit should be good.

By utilizing supplied referencing, you can see that the unit only avalanches and starts any consequential conducting at up about the 26VDC level, or if using RMS AC, only about 18-20 VAC should show both the node peaks clipping.
