Identify diodes and SCRs

I have some stud diodes and SCRs removed from an old VFD unit. All have
1/4-20 threaded studs. They are:
SCRs (anode case):
GE-55-305-601
GE-55-296-601
GE- and NL-55-323-122
Diodes:
55-238-601 (cathode case, Westinghouse)
55-278-601 (anode case, various)
55-215-601 (cathode case, IR)

Given the consistency I was wondering if someone might in fact have some
data on these.

Thanks,

Tim

Those numbers sound like house numbers - the mfr. stamps the customer's
part number on them; if that's the case, you'd have to go back to the
original maker of the VFD, if they still exist.

Or, you could test/characterize them in your lab.

Good Luck!

That's the usual trouble with house numbers... still.. just a shot in the
dark...

I could do stuff like gate trigger current, fall time, recovery time,
breakdown voltage and maybe some others, but stuff like max dI/dt sounds
like a destructive test to me. :-\
