I would rather date a fat and ugly chip designer, than a soc.men poster

Let me first say that I have nothing against homosexuality. But I know for a fact that those soc.men posters are homosexuals in disguise. On top of that they have no money and are very whiney. I would prefer to date fat and ugly chip designers. That a soc.man posters. Those people are just worthless freaks with no brains. Chip designers, have no social skills either but at least are not as whiney and mean spirited.

It's all about money for you isn't it?

I don't know about that. I prefer wine to beer ;-) And spend about
$2K/month eating in fine restaurants.

And we have an income... we don't live at home with mommy ;-)

Having made both wine and beer - a lot more art goes into beer than
wine - and fine beer is harder to get than "fine" wine - oops, there I
am whining again.

I learned to cook.

I married a master-chef-level cook ;-)

Yikes! I eat out once a month, and the bill never exceeds $20. I average
about $1 a day on food the rest of the month.

I have a friend like that. His grocery list... can of cat food, can
of beans, beer ;-)

He should be careful of that cat food as of late!

I don't see how a dollar a day can surfice with a can of
beans costing nearly a dollar alone.

Pasta with a little butter and garlic, parsley from the back yard,
maybe 20 cents per serving. Grits and eggs, about the same. Potatoes
are, maybe, a few cents a serving. It's incredible how cheap food is.

Yep. You can live a long time on a few cents worth of dried
beans and rice a day. Or maybe it just seems like a long
time. ;-)

Yikes is right!

When things are hopping... as they are now... 12-16 hour days preclude
cooking at home. And, given my rate, it's not economic to use the
time.

When things are slow we use the outdoor kitchen extensively.

By the way, when my business is hopping, historically this has meant
that the general economy takes a dump... means the DEMONcRATS are
coming ;-)

I was just looking at planting some actually. I fancy the flat leaved Italian
variety.

I love parsley but worry that what is added as a garnish at
restaurants is not clean, because they didn't expect anybody
to eat it. But I eat it, anyway. I just added some seed to
pots I will grow tomatoes in.
