Try l;ooking for "color organ" circuits. That was a 70s thing that was
the laser light show of it's time. They basically broke the music
spectrum down to 3 or 4 colors of light that lit with the beat. Some
were pretty simple affairs with crude pass filters. You just need the
low pass part.
Basically you hit an SCR or Triac with the stuff that makes it under
the low pass filter you choose.

No, it was a early 1960's thing. Synchro-lights was 70's along with disco.

If your news provider doesn't carry alt.binaries.schematics.electronic
you are missing out on a lot of posts.

However I've posted it to my website....

Pretty good version. I get abse but that post did not come through my ISP.
Most commercial ISP's do not have adequate binary news (if any at all, also
many cut alt.bin* completely).

I had known since nearly the beginning that Bill had bought DOS, Bill's
contribution was an extremely small basic interpreter / editor.
"TinyBasic". It implemented a very minimal subset of BASIC.

Gary Kildall of CP/M fame was too busy flying his plane to talk with IBM.
How different might history have been if otherwise?

Bill's got enough cash, good to see him giving a few tax dollars to the
hungry and sick.

Pretty good version.

Certainly, since I designed it ;-)

The OP keeps whining, but if he can't handle just that upper row of
the schematic (the "beat" section), then he should just purchase
something.

Otherwise he's going to electrocute himself :-(

How about you study just exactly what and how Bill is going about things,
maybe you will learn something. Do not call until you have studied, i am
still busy studying this myself.
