Hello, Let me start off by saying that I'm new to circuit building, so I do not know that much about it. So last night I built this circuit with a TIP31 transistor, so that the audio from my computer lights up an led accordingly, in pulse with the music. It looks really cool! But because I have 3 LED's, I want 1 just to pick up bass, and the rest to pick up what they already are. I will put a link to view the circuit diagram at the end.The LED's currently have their own circuit, and they are all running at 1.9v. I read somewhere else online that I need a hi-low filter, is that true? Thanks for any help.
PS: this is just the diagram I based it off of, instead of having a 12v battery, I have it off of 1.9v leads from my pc motherboard. And instead of 4 LED's I only have 1. But as I mentioned earlier, I have 3 of these set up.
