Hi All,

I would like to recommend a company based in Morgan Hill, Ca that has a
nice selection of new and used electronics components and stuff, including
all types of test equipment. If you mention my name, you will get a special
discount also! Their website address is

Thanks and I hope find what you need at great prices!

Would that be the Morgan Hill, CA in Australia, Belgium or
Germany? (Or do all of the places you've spammed have a 'Morgan
Hill, CA'?)

GB, never buys from spammers as a matter of principle.

Well I surfed to their site just to compare some prices.
Obviously didn't check them all out but they appear to be pretty cheap for
semiconductors.
e.g. their 2N2222A are US$0.25 each, whereas www.altronics.com.au have the
same for AU$1.25 each.
Likewise the common 2N3055 is US$1.25 whereas www.altronics.com.au have the
same for AU$2.50 each.

If you were ordering in quantity the savings may very well be worth it as
long as you offset the shipping cost.

Cheers,
Alan

Oh, that's an interesting company with an interesting portfolio,
but quite expensive.

Sad that you have spammed so many newsgroups with this advertisement,
as nobody will ever buy from companies that use spam.

Bull SHit!
Sure you can buy a 2n2222a for .25 cents US (lets buy 10 for example) that's
Now $2.50 USD (which is $3.32 Aus)

0.25 USD
United States Dollars = 0.332400 AUD
Australia Dollars
1 USD = 1.32960 AUD 1 AUD = 0.752106 USD

Then add on the Freight,
UPS Rates & Service Selection

a.. UPS Worldwide Express(SM) $76.61

a.. UPS Worldwide Expedited(SM) $74.26

a.. FedEx International Economy $78.07

a.. FedEx International Priority $80.48

a.. USPS Global Express $26.16

a.. USPS Guaranteed Global Express $62.76

That's from their own site.
so I would have to buy a ton to make it worth while.
Not to mention this yank is ripping off an Australian Company Name ,
and your going to buy from them , you must also be a Dumb idiot too....

What a Wank,
He's a YANK and like any spammer, has no Brainer....
lol

don't encourage these losers..
You loser!

Oh do yourself a favour and learn to read before you make a complete idiot
of yourself in the future.

First off try reading my post and engaging the brain before you engage the
keyboard .
I did say you'd have to buy enough to offset any shipping costs, didn't I?
In case you missed it, here it is again -
"If you were ordering in quantity the savings may very well be worth it as
long as you offset the shipping cost."

Okay, let's do the maths. Based on an exchange rate of AU$1.00 = US$0.75
(close enough to your conversion rate).

I want to buy 200 x 2N2222A transistors. Not an unreasonable quantity for a
small product run.
From the US company (even with the outrageous USPS Global Express shipping
rate) it works out to AU$113.47 in total.
From Altronics locally = AU$160.00 and this doesn't include postage. In
approximate terms that's $46 I'm saving or if you like a saving of around
28%. An amount not to be sneezed at. :p

Who in their right mind would only buy 10 cheap small signal garden veriety
transistors from an overses supplier as their complete order?
Obviously only a dimwit like you would. :p LOL

Just for the record I'm an Altronics (yes the Aussie mob) customer. I have
a trade account with them and I do buy locally as well as from OS. A lot
depends on the quantity and the urgency, although USPS Global Express will
have most things from the USA on my doorstep within 4 days of ordering. :)

Cheers,
Alan

BTW - top posting isn't good Usenet ettiquette.

Nonsense. If that held true there would not be such a thing a "spam". It
exists for the sole purpose of tricking idiots (i.e. upper management)
into overpriced offers such as the above.

Greetings,
Johannes

BLAH Blah Blah...

That was my point DH!

But you are going to deal with a Company that is Ripping off an Australain
Company name!!

just on that point alone I would keep away from him,
If hes ripping off a name like that, then how would you know he is selling
you a true 2n2222A and not a second rate product.
and then you end up with 200 or 2000 faulty Transistors, failing in your
product you have just spend $1000's on marketing, just to save a few bucks
to buy off a Yankie altronics firm..
as I said
"LOSER"

Cheers...
