I am trying to specify the connector shown at

http://www.powerstream.com/z/2pole.jpg

to a company in china. Can anyone help me with a manufacturer,
part number, or even what these things are called? I have
spent many hours pouring through connector catalogs and web
pages and I am stumped!

Thanks

This illustrates the problem. Customer went down to Pep Boys and
picked out a connector for his product. Unfortunately I can't
put "pep boys" on the bill of material as a supplier.

Best regards

As I said in sec, send them a sample. Or search Thomas for automotive
connectors. This kind is not an 'electronic' connector, and I don't
think you'll find the same companies making them (withe the possible
exception of Tyco/Molex).

I read in sci.electronics.design that Mark W. Lund, PhD

Blast from the past. They are 2-pole non-reversible automotive 'bullet'
connectors. Last used in Europe about 1066, well, 1986 at a rough guess.

But from your subject line, you know most of that. What more do you
want?

Then go buy a handful out of petty cash, and put yourself as supplier.

Good Luck!
